Jenn Mahoney |
Bio |
Jenn Mahoney has loved comedy since the tender age of four when she would watch "Laugh In", "The Carol Burnett Show" (Lily Tomlin & Carol Burnett are her idols) and "The Monkees" (Davy Jones is a hottie). Jenn graduated from Boston University with a BFA in Acting and set out for Hollywood soon after. Her credits include Lady Montague in East L.A. Classic Theatre's Romeo & Juliet (directed by Tony Plana), a |
lead role in a staged perfomance of the sit-com pilot Everything's Coming Up Rosee (directed by Ted Lange) and a starring role in the AFI film Henry and Marvin. She also sang the Emmy Award winning theme song, by composer Patrick Williams, for the CBS MOW Yesterday's Children (starring Jane Seymore) (2001 Emmy for Best Music & Lyrics). Jenn is also a freelance writer and has been Editor of the Irish News & Entertainment (a local Los Angeles Irish paper). She has also written blogs and podcasts for Podango.com as well as many short films and a sit-com, currently in the works. Jenn is a Gemini with a Leo rising and a Virgo moon, which makes her a very confused individual. She loves yoga, Tae-Bo and watching C-Span... and is on her way to being an old cat lady! |
